The electric motor is a powerful 44kw unit which runs directly through the original Fiat transaxle gearbox, fixed in one gear, there is no need for a clutch. Just select forward, press the throttle and you're off!
- Smooth, quiet, lively, probably not what you'd expect to hear about a Classic Fiat 500, but this is what you can expect from one of our conversions.
- Low mileage 21kWh Tesla battery packs are used to give you a tested range of around 120 miles per charge.
- Regenerative braking feeds charge back into the batteries when you lift off the throttle.
- The car is fitted with a 3.3kw charger, which comes attached to a standard UK 13A plug so you can charge at home. Full charge from empty takes around 6hrs.
- This conversion is 100% reversible to a standard petrol engined car.
